THE WEEK IN DESIGN 01

Some great work generated this week.

Work on Philpott and Mandela ready to air as and when required.

Strong design coming out of the Live  Area this week and we are reviewing this daily, keeping a close eye on our brand and the clarity of information and storytelling.
The strengths and weaknesses are not just about designs, but also the story, commission, writing and conceit behind them.

A collaborative approach as early as possible, will always bring the best result from all parties.

With all this work, there are improvements which can be made, but we do well to celebrate where we are on the right track.

Immigration was a clean, clear, crisp sequence; simple, but with an idea behind it.  It focussed on the information

Energy Bills celebrated the best in the current vogue for infographics

Maternity was a bold clear piece of design with the information and subject clear from the start

Abuse was hard hitting and emotive, without being over complicated

British Boost was stylistically the most on-brand and very clear in the information

The Gas Info iPad graphic was beautifully composed and very clear for the medium
